Calvary Arrows College was conceived by Bro. Gbile Akanni through the Holy Spirit. He bore the burden for several years. Knowing he was not called to run with it, he shared it with some educationists who felt called by the Holy Spirit to run with it.
CAC found expressions in August 1997 through the CAC summer school which ran for seven (7) years before the full-fledged school became a reality in September 2005 at Gboko, Benue State, Nigeria. It started with 80 students in two arms of JSS 1, twenty five (25) Teaching staff, four (4) Non-teaching staff and twenty (20) Disciplers. The first External Examination (Junior NECO and Junior State WASC) were taken in May 2008. First SSCE was taken in 2011 and the first Cambridge was in 2017.
It is registered with Corporate Affairs Commission as a group of schools that is expected to have expression in several parts of the country and beyond.
